The Strangest Secret

I was introduced to this teaching via a cassette tape years ago — if the mind “delivers” what we think about, then why is it that we have all these “unwanted” things in our lives?

I had a very busy week and as such have a backlog of work to do — I don’t even know where to start. Stepping back to observe, I catch these — “I have so much to do, I don’t know where to begin, I am in overwhelm, !@#$*($&, I will not accomplish anything!” And then I wonder why I feel that I have so much to do, that I don’t know where to begin, that I am in overwhelm, and why I’m feeling that I’m not accomplishing anything.

So, imagine what my thinking is like, everyday, if I was not conscious and deliberately observing my thoughts? What kind of thought habits would I have developed through the years? What results would show up? Continue reading
